ABOUT CHROMAX: DESIGN

I moved in to Desk-top Publishing in 1994 and produced print work (Brochures, Press Adverts, Stationery and the like) for a number of clients. Just a year later I saw that there might be opportunities in the Internet and published my first web site early in 1995. The response was instant!

Between 1995 and 1999, I worked as a Freelance Web Designer, producing hundreds of web sites for a wide variety of clients. To the left are screen shots from a handful of these old sites.

Demand was very high and I was inundated with work. In the Summer of 1999 I co-founded a new company, astutech ltd. The company has worked on many innovative projects, but our own product, wordserver, which enables people to build and maintain their own web sites without any special technical skills has probably been the most challenging.
